IOWA FALLS BUTCHER SHOP
WHY A BUTCHER SHOP?
There was a need in the local area for a butcher shop that would provide local farmers and hunters the option for custom butchering. Broad waiting periods for farmers to get their livestock into a butcher, the rising popularity of knowing exactly where your meat comes from, and the feel-good factor of helping local farmers earn more for their products solidified the opportunity to help the community by opening a butcher shop.

YOU ASK: WHY THE NAME NIMROD MEATS?
Nimrod is described in the Bible as being God's mighty hunter. He is associated with attempting to build the Tower of Babel and fell from God's grace by becoming a tyrant, which is where the definition you are familiar with came from. Rocky, the owner, is also a mighty hunter and naming the locker Nimrod Meats seemed like a catchy idea!
